Water Damage Restoration

Must carpet pad be replaced if it has gotten wet?

Not necessarily. Changing the carpet pad will depend upon two factors: 1) The source of the water which wet the pad. 2) The amount of time the pad has been wet. If the water source is a clean water source, e.g. a burst hose from a washing machine, a back-up in the a/c system and the problem is addressed quickly, the pad will not need to be replaced. This will be decided on a case by case basis.
